What is the name of the flourish that consists of the card jumping "out of the pack", spin through the air and being caught in the other hard, or kicked back up with your foot, or whatever.

It's very hard to search for something when you don't know its name.

I've got one way of doing it, but it looks a bit weird holding the pack like you're showing the bottom card.

Can one reveal flourishes? :)

when you cut the deck, and shoot the card out to catch in the other hand, it is known as Daryl's hot shot cut.

it is taught in xtreme beginners, and (I believe) Born to Perform. There are other sources but they have slipped my mind at the moment

whether that is what you meant, I am not sure

Ya the one where it jumps and spins t othe other hand without the cut is called "Frequent Flyer" I think and it takes a lot of practise, I never got it down yet, Its harder to do with a full deck....The hot shot cut as well is difficult and it is just an advancement or so It seems on the Frequent flyer....They are great flourishes if you have alot of time and knack for flourishes...

I might be wrong about this but it seems to me that Daryl's version is a bit more complicated than the one Oz does on 'Born to Perform', which might be greg wilson's handling(not sure).

I find Oz's version suits me better than Daryl's.

I'm not thinking of one with a cut. I can't quite visualise what you mean. It's more that the pack is in one hand and a card, which I guess is the back card, spins out in an arc and you catch it in the other.

oh. ok. i know which cut that one is.

OZ says on the video to practice with a rubber TT cashiers use to count money. I tried it with that and I could flick it quite well. Without it, I can barely let it fly.
