Hiya!

I just joined TM, and I am struggling to find a good avatar. The motif is maybe not the most difficult, but how to get it down to <8k. I'm using Photoshop CS. I get the image size and canvas size down to 80 x 80 pixels, but how can I make it so it isn't >8k big?

Thx!

How is someone who can afford Photoshop CS not have found how to re-size images in the manual? If you're a Photoshop owner, this is pretty basic stuff.

Yeah I know!!! I really feel very stupid! Normally I don't have any problems doing basic things on PS.

Thank you lindz! After poking around for 5 minutes I found out how to do it. Soon I will have my avatar up. It'll be my tribute to Daryl.

Actually it is not me using CS normally. We have it installed in the other computer, and for basic photo manipulation I can get around, but not much more. It is actually my job partner that uses it. I wish I had time to learn how to use CS, but unfortunately I don't. When I use it, it is just to fool around a bit and try something of this and something of that. If I had him around today I would most certainly ask him about it.
