Sean and I got together like we normally do, and I asked him to help me out with something that I wanted to do.
Well what that was; a card across effect, that the card travels from a red backed deck to a blue backed deck or vice versa. Now let me let you in on some inside news about Sean, he hates tricks with two decks so he kinda brushed me off. But Sean left me with some kind words of advice, and so I went on my way. So Sean and I, got together and we decided to have a jam session... He tried showing me a self working card trick or something that he was trying to remember, but just randomly I decided on a whim to ask him to help me out with the card across... So I don't know what it was, but I remember it clearly, I was in mid drag of his nearly finished off cigarette, I was talking about how I want to make it look, and he cuts me off... And so I would be happy to be the first to let you guys know about his newest effect tennitively called Akross.
Sean has come up with a handling so pristine for this, I cursed at him for being so good... Mainly because he thought for the total of maybe 30 seconds, and then he came up with it... And has been tweeking it to make it even more amazing.
The effect is something a little like this:
A card is selected and signed. The card is replaced and the deck is held by the spectator. Now imagine that card appearing in another deck... Also held by another spectator!
Here are some highlighs as per his rough draft he asked me to review;
"Here are some key points to remember:
-No palming
-The decks are held by the spectators
-The decks are examinable at the conclusion of the routine
-Six second reset
-Good for any sized crowd"
Sean also leaves you with some sweet tips on how to kross with finess and style the Sean Fields way, every time.
