anybody been 2 this place in manchester??

great atmosphere and some clever magicians....either close up at your table or just while your having a beer at the bar!
.....worth checking out if passing thro there

I've just moved from Manchester after 34 years, I've never heard of the place. Where in Manchester is it?

It's in the Printworks. I went afew months ago after reading about in magicscene. The thing that shocked me the most was people's reactions when intoxicated, they were loving it.

one of the magicians in ther Magic Sam he goes by the name of has posted his first vid on youtube!!

I must admit I did tend to avoid the printworks like the plague, not a nice place on a friday or saturday night. I think the last time I was there was when Narnia the movie was released.

Pure Magic is no more. I don't know the details but apparently it closed its doors on 28th Jan and opened again as a normal club bar.

As cities go, Manchester's a good one to visit. Art galleries, museums, bars, clubs, celeb spotting, bars. Did I mention bars?
