Help needed with music quiz please !!

Postby moonbeam » Feb 9th, '07, 19:39

Got an email off a m8 the other day asking for my help (God only knows why he asked me :? ) with a cryptic music quiz.

He only needs 4 more to complete the quiz so get your thinking caps on peeps please

Basically there's a cryptic clue - and the answer is the name of a pop artist 8)

A few examples are:

Her Majesty = Queen
B.A., B.Sc., B.Ed. = The 3 Degrees
Feline Barbies = Pussycat Dolls
Very cold primates = Arctic Monkeys

Anyway the ones we're stuck on are:

1. Easily readable
2. Sarajevo victim
3. Desperate trouble
4. Hebrew beginning (might be Genesis ??)

Any help would be much appreciated

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I agree on what the others said about 1,2,3.
Regarding "Genesis" now.
Genesis is a greek word and means "Birth" and not a hebrew word. However it does actually fit the "Beginning" description especially in a religious context.
However if you type: "Define: Genesis" (without the quotes) on google to get the definition , you get (among others) :

the first book of the Old Testament: tells of creation; Adam and Eve; the Fall of Man; Cain and Abel; Noah and the flood; God's covenant with Abraham; Abraham and Isaac; Jacob and Esau; Joseph and his brothers

and

Genesis (Greek: Γένεσις, having the meanings of "birth", "creation", "cause", "beginning", "source" and "origin") is the first book of the Torah (five books of Moses) and hence the first book of the Tanakh, part of the Hebrew Bible; it is also the first book of the Christian Old Testament.

So you propably can't go wrong with Genesis.
