Thanks! And back atcha.

Mrs Seige was woken up this morning with a card, cup of coffee, slice of toast and a kiss.

So she tells me.

She was actually fast asleep when I left.

hehe...

hmmm..go on then Lady of Mystery, have an awkward but friendly pat on the back in return...i'll return the cow later...

speaking of witch, i explained my postition regarding valentines day last night to a small herd of women me and friend got talking to in a bar...it didnt go down well...but that's another story...

every single one had a look of incredulity and terror on their face when i explained how rubbish and sterile i thought valentines day was and how its all about the woman in any case...mainly just for amusement but also cos...well...its true

Cheers Lady of Mystery!

As usual, I got a Valentine's Day present through the post... from my mum

I too am a valentine's day cynic, but I can't help but be slightly softer towards it this year as it is the first february 14th *ever* I will be spending the evening with someone, as opposed to the usual night of heavy drinking. (Cue my liver shouting "yay!")

As for being romantic, I'm just the best... my girl got a card and a box of tea bags wrapped in ribbon left outside her door this morning! (Not as bad as you think... the back story is that she's on residential placement, and I drink darjeeling tea almost exclusively, so I bought her a box so she can make a brew and think about me :D )

Happy Valentines Day to you too!

Im not that romantic to be honest. My girlfriend lives in America so i save up all the money i can for the next trip over to see her, which could be around June time. I also hope that she receives the card that i tried to time just right by sending it 11 days ago so that it arrives at her door this morning. And also hope that the guy arrives on time to deliver a dozen roses to her before she goes to either school or work, neither of which i have a clue to when she starts.

I just realised that i hate Valentines Day because it makes me miss her even more. :(

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

I'm sure she'll love the card and flowers. Been there and done that with the long distance relationships, can be really hard at times.

Happy V day my lady!!

Normally I make a big deal of Valentines.. only because she expects it!!

This year we are both broke after recent expenditures so we had a limit of £5.

I bought her a little crystal like guardian angel in a nice red glossy box as Im bad at choosing cheap presents.. I reckon she will like the box!! I made the card myself with the mirror card I bought from NUMS.

I said on the card '' You are the magic in my life.. if you were a playing card youd be the Ace of Hearts.. why..''

and inside the card I glued a black deck Ace of hearts and wrote '' Because your Ace and I love you with all my heart!!''

Cheesy but whatever.. thats all I could come up with.. She bought me a giant card and a couple of Thornton Love Hearts..

She hasnt received my gifts yet.. she left 5 hours before I woke up!! I dont think she will like that!!

www.youtube.com/brum2redmagic !! Youtube Project started.. early days

Reading: Nothing right now
Studying: loving band redemption

Marvell, if you're going to write a letter, have the decency to finish it off...still, its not as if you'll get a reply is it... :)

but it looks like the bad puns weren't noticed...thats the main thing...

I had to write a poem for English class from that point of view...

"A card, two or possibly none,
A chocolate or a kiss,
Mere perishables given to “the one”
To invite them in to bliss.

She would wear her best, her most gorgeous dress,
To obtain it she would pay any amount
But the boys couldn’t care less.
For it’s what is inside that counts.

Fluff it up and celebrate,
With romance and rapport,
Fake emotions and simulate
Friendship and support.
They can buy as much as they please,
But should remember to not overpay,
After all,
In the end, it’s just a Hallmark holiday.

To some, these words come off as harsh,
I’ll say them anyway.
Freedom of speech doesn’t wait
For Saint Valentine’s day."

Currently Reading "House of Mystery" (Abbott, Teller), Tarbell, Everything I can on busking
