RaMa Deck Unbound

Postby Mr_Grue » Feb 15th, '07, 14:26

I recently bought, and am really enjoying, the RaMa deck, but there are a couple of niggles that I have with it, chiefly the use of the ID's SO, which seems to be too much of a tell when performing, especially on the instant memorized deck routine. Maybe I'm just being oversensitive.

However, the mechanical aspect of the deck can be applied to different SOs just as effectively, so I'm hoping to build my own RaMa deck soon. I'll admit that part of this will comes from the fact that I've already worked on an MS, and feel it would be a waste not to apply it to the RaMa, thus eliminating the cause of my concern.

The only drawback, though, was that by using a RaMa style deck in an MS-based arrangement, it would take a fair bit of mental calculation in order to work what is the strongest (packaged) effect for the RaMa, GFY. Then it occured to me that I could just take my ID and order it in a similar fashion. And if I get used to working with my ID in that order, then it will serve to hide the same tell there, too! (I love the way, with GFY, you don't really have to worry about what card the spec has selected, just hunt the P card out in the ID).

I hope this all makes sense.

If the spectator doesn't engage in the effect,
then the only thing left is the method.
