Matchbooks

Postby S. Lea » Feb 13th, '07, 15:22

Someone posted on here before Christmas about the difficultly acquiring books of matches. I mentioned then that I had a matchbook effect coming out in 2007, that comes with it's own matchbooks (which you can use to perform other matchbook effects) and now the time has arrived.

The effect itself involves the words embossed on the cover of the matchbook changing into the name of a selected card whilst in a spectator's hand. There are two versions of the effect included and 5 matchbooks are provided.

Because this is an obvious plug (although I won't say shameless as I do feel a twinge of embarrassment) I'd like to offer TM members interested in the effect a 50% discount if they PM me by the end of the week.

Normal price £6, discount price £3.

Sounds good, but never mind that... when's this impression pad going to be ready?!

I bought 100 books of matches from eBay quite cheaply.

I am just about to send off one of my impression pads to Craig Browning. He will receive a pad and the accompanying booklet. This is something I discussed with him last December. After I have gratefully received his thoughts, I will think about releasing the pad.
