Fake Rose Petals

There are a couple effects that I think is worth trying that use roses. One - Zamiel's Rose by Derren Brown works fine with fake rose petals. The other is from Building Blocks by Luke Jermay. Does anyone know if the Luke Jermay one - titled "Divided by Hate"- works with fake rose petals? Thanks.

I'm not askingfor where I can buy them. If you actually read my post instead of just the title, you'd have seen that I'm asking for the effectiveness of fake petals in a Luke Jermay effect.
