Each card has small electronic sensors embedded inside. These detect the length of time that the spectators retina hangs on a card. Simple as that.

The cards a specifically ordered to create a hypnotic suggestion of a card which isn't there.

Those explanations are contradictory... :?

Besides, everyone knows that it's a mix of the svangalli, invisible, viper, ghost, mirage, and black tiger decks.

Mine work by REAL magic.

I caste the "one way forcing deck" spell. Then everyone seems to just see the King of Diamonds (I'm up to 9 consecutive naming of this card - so it must be a one way force... there is no other way surely).

This is especially strange cos when I look there isn't even one there.

The MP deck has an embedded microchip processor with amplified ESP senses. It detects the card that the person is thinking and then it transmits it to the performer.
The performer then uses a deck of his choice, spreads the deck with his desirable way and uses his favourite card-to-cigarette routine to make the effect of "Smoke"

Just as simple ! I hope I won't get banned for exposing this

Strictly speaking, it's the case, not the deck, so it can be done with any deck, so long as you use the right case. You wouldn't want to confuse people, would you?

A word of caution: if you use a Wizard PK ring in your act, DON'T get it near the Mindpower deck for too long (ditto credit cards and electronic car keys). The chips used in the deck, being based on older cmos technology, can fry due to the current induced when the ring passes too close by. For the same reason, it's best not to use the deck on a nylon carpet because of static discharge doing the same.

Sorry if this is exposure, mods, but I've ruined a couple of decks now and they're expensive to replace.

EDIT: When I say deck, I mean case obviously.

I got around that by doing the trick barefoot.

You guys are making a bunch of bogus posts, It is simple yet effectful, all the cards are the same so they can only pick one card, the performer puts them in a mini hypno-trans in order to get them to ignore the fact that they are all the same card. It's brilliant! 8)

At this point I would like to add that if you download the new firmware from the support site (link on the page 345 , paragraph 3 of the manual) you get an improved A.I engine and also solves the problem when placed near certain mobile phones !!

can i just say, how could you have a sensor inside a card which transmits the card to the performer!!??! it must be a simpler method than that. also many people have claimed to have made their own mind power deck, so it cant be sensors, as you couldn't embed them yourself.
anyone got any better suggestions? (i.e someone who has the deck and has read the instructions!)

2. No blatant advertising is allowed.

4. No selling or trading of instructions. We will allow, and promote, the sale or trading of prop based tricks (e.g. Knife thru arm) by approved members but not allow the sale or trading of instruction based tricks (e.g. booklets etc..) - basically, if you can still perform the trick after you have sold it, you may not advertise it on this site!

7. Where possible please try to avoid over using "Text Speak" (i.e. txtspk) in any messages posted. It would also be appreciated if messages are checked for grammar, spelling and typos. It is accepted that from time to time bad spelling, grammar and typos will occur, however the over abundance of these mistakes in a message will make it difficult for others to read and comprehend.

8. You won’t be surprised to hear that over the years, most of the common topics have been discussed so please use the Search Function for previous threads before starting new ones. Although the Search Function isn't 100% foolproof, it will show up a lot of useful previous information. This is especially true in respect of how to get started in magic, basic books/DVDs/props etc recommended for beginners.

9. The same prior use of the Search Function applies to Reviews and Review requests - if there's an existing Review then add your comments to it rather than start another thread.

10. There are other Stickies dotted around the Forum so please check and read them for specific details about other matters.
