Fred says high from Scotland

Postby Fred » Feb 22nd, '07, 18:08

Hi to everyone.

Well I have been interested in magic since I got a book when I was at school and have always been fascinated by it since that time.

I am now about to reach my fortieth birthday and have decided to stop just toying around the edges and actually try and get up the courage and skills to perform. So I am hoping that this site along with my various books and any other resources I can find will help guide me through the early steps.

Hope I meet and talk to some interesting people and that you forgive the ignorance of a new kid on the block.

A

Welcome, from Canada. The best thing to do is practice, practice, practice, and when you feel that you are ready, practice somemore, and try to find a mentor to help you along, I have working at this for 2yrs when I have time. My mentor is helping me with the little things in the tricks that make the magic more powerful. Best of luck.

Thanks to you and everyone else for your warm Welcome. I am up in the North East of Scotland but sadly cannot call myself a scot although I have lived most of my life here.

Oh well, hopefully my kids can claim their heritage from here.
