Thanks for that Scott.

Looks like you are going to be kept pretty busy. Please update us when you fill the unbooked dates, as I'd love to see you perform but most of your dates are way up North. :(

If you don't get anywhere nearer Suffolk, then I'll contact the London Society of Magicians and see if they allow guests.

Meanwhile any news on this new DVD you have been threatening us with?

Wolverhampton's closest for me... and I wonder if Toady and Mandrake are up for it???

Thanks, Scott... nice to see we're on your visiting list!

Oh boy - this is something I simply can't miss! Either Warwick/Leamington or Wolverhampton are good for me. Warwick is about 20 minutes away (assuming the M42/M40 is OK and the speed cameras are off) whereas Wolverhampton is probably 40 minutes or so as it's all inner city roads. At the moment, September 28th/29th is clear. Once we figure out who's coming and who isn't, perhaps we can make contact with the organisers and book some places - I have a feeling that there won't be many to spare once the word gets round.

Perhaps this would be an ideal opportunity to introduce Scott to the delights of British Beer - at the right temperature - and in serious quantities?

OK, if it's just thee, me and HT (someone talented could write a song on that theme!) perhaps Wolverhampton would be the best option?

Anyone else likely to be joining the 3 Musketeers (as in 'we must get 'ere on time')?

Count me in... and HT is in Tettenhall, which is on Wolve's doorstep (I'm sure he has ties with the Wolves magic dudes, anyway?!?!)

And 3 days after my Birthday - what more can I ask?!?!?

Brilliant - that's 2 reasons to look forward to September this year, then!
(Apart from getting 1 year closer to Yankee Tom's ripe old age...)

Like an uncontrollable avalanche (is there any other kind?), the momentum increases! My youngest son is keen to join in so it looks as though it could be one hell of a party. Said offspring has been interested in Magic for yonks and has taught himself many card fans, sleights etc just for the sheer hell of it. He puts me to shame well and truly in that respect - I've mastered the 'Ooops dropped the whole deck again' move but that's about it.

I'm afraid guys I'm not affiliated to any magic group so it's not going to be an option for me. Thanks for thinking of me though :)

That's not necessarily an issue Toad. It depends from club to club. So if you are still interested, then don't give up hope.

Besides - who knows, you may have joined them by that time... :)

Same here but , once we had an indication of the numbers likely to want to join in, I was going to ask the folks at Wolverhampton if we can get in by special arrangement as:

a) We're all long standing members of this forum.
b) We're all Scott's mates (!)

I'm sure a word from Scott would fix it if there were any problems. I'll have a word with the Wolverhamptom Circle of Magicians and see what their response is. At the moment it isn't even listed on their events calendar so it may be a bit early - worth trying though!
