A Florida USA Hello

Hi, RickeyG here in Florida USA. I've been playing amateur magician off and on since I was a kid... many decades ago. I have been inactive with it for many years but recently began enjoying myself again with practicing and reading. I did perform for a short while (about 3 years) some 25 years ago at Disney World but I consider myself an amateur nonetheless, never made a career of it.

I prefer close-up magic as opposed to the stage and like performing with things people perceive as everyday objects or situations. When I was younger I did some clowning also. I think the two things I enjoyed doing the most over my 53 years on earth were doing magic and clowning, especially for the kids... they're easy to please and always have as much fun as we do with it all.

I hope to chat with many of you here. It appears from what I've seen on the forum that there are many here who really enjoy the art and craft. Looks like all ages are represented too, that's good. Well, anyway, I hope I can contribute something as well as have fun talking.
