Heres a video of my classic pass. I know its horrible needs more practice and is not ready for performance. Now I bet your wondering why is he posting this I posting this mainly because I want to know a dvd or book that is completely or mostly on the classic pass and I want to show you how I'm doing it now and see if I'm doing it wrong so that I'm not practicing the wrong thing. angles for the classic pass are essential, even for the herman pass as well...try and angle your cards down a bit...roughly a 45 degree angle. and practice practice practice.

Here are some common tips:

Angle the deck downwards slightly.
Keep your right fingers together and cover as much of the deck as possible.
Be loose and fast. (Although a pass doesn't always have to be fast).
Practice in front of a mirror from many angles, and also webcam.
Experiment with cover/disguises (thumb sweep, rock the deck, make eye contact to misdirect).
Always make it as small a movement as possible.
A minimum of noise is necessary - if they hear it - they'll know you did it.
Practice constantly and it will pay off.

Neither of which I own personally, the reviews I've seen have been mixed for both of them. You could try them.
On the pass is probably the one I would buy.

Books may well be better on many things, but I think with the pass - videos are better.

I think On The pass Looks very good read the reviews and watched the demo looks wonderful can't wait to buy it!

I got the DVD myself and cannot do anything but recommend it to you. Kaufman goes trough the mechanics of several different passes and shows you a couple of tricks using the pass. Even though the DVD can be considered slightly booring compared to several other DVDs on the market the content is very good. And most important, the DVD will teach you how to do the pass. I found a good pass on the DVD that Kaufman calls "half a jiggle pass". My attempt to pull it off can be seen in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1qZ2QZWC98 in the beginning (00:14)

It's best if your hands are moving when doing the pass.
Try moving your hands from the position they're in on your video to a more downward position as you are executing the pass. The movement really helps in hiding it.
Or in a different situation you can move from one side to the other with a slight downward motion as well. This can be done whilst gesturing to your audience, and works well also.
