Has anyone bought this trick yet?

http://www.magicshop.co.uk/interlace-ri ... -2132.html

If so what do you think of it and is it a basic stand alone trick or can others be added or integrated into it.

I like to add wee tricks like this to my collection to have something new to practice between learning card sleights. Any thoughts as if this is worth buying.

Thanks

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

Great video. Magicians might get an idea about the ring's journey, but it's a mystery to me how the actual tying takes place (magic!). It looks wonderful. On the other hand, I find the price to be fairly high for one trick, even if the DVD is said to teach several variations of it.

I guess I'll hold my breath (and onto my wallet) until someone who owns the trick posts a review here.

Looks fantastic, certainly better than most other ring flights. The only draw back I can think of is if you have to make modifications to every item of clothing you intend to perform the effect in. Also a tad pricy but if you're using this on a regular basis in gigs it would probably pay for itself immediately.

interlace review

Postby ddrrww » Feb 25th, '07, 14:13

how do

i've just joined up so i can post a review for richard sanders interlace.
i've only had it a little while so may do another when i've used it a bit more.
first impressions were that it was a very clever idea but it may not be a great trick for some people.

the dvd is very good and covers everything you would need to know about the trick (lots of different methods) - basically no probs with the dvd.

the props are also very good.

the setup is fairly painless- can take a while but its a one off.

a problem i have is just getting it to work. the setup is covered very well but a lot of trial and error has to be used to get the effect working well. the main thing that can affect this is your taste in clothes. anyone who has this will know what i mean. a certain item has to be in a style which may not be to everyones taste. its not to mine and this is why I'm finding it difficult. - if this item is what you wear then I'm sure you would have less or no problems.

at the end of the day- i really love this trick. the idea is so good and i know that i've knocked it a bit -but with a bit of playing around I'm sure i'll get it working well.

this isnt a great review but i'll do my best to answer any questions.

gotta admit im confused by that, i bought interlace at blackpool, now just which item has to be in fashion? trousers or shoes?:) i can see how it might be a problem for a nudist, a hobbit, or someone who wont give up their skintight leather 80's trousers, but other than that....:)

What do you think of it CuttotheAce? Is it worth the money for one trick?

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

hello!

the trousers. i dont really wear anything other than jeans and it advises against these on the dvd. i have one pair of very baggy jeans so i tried it on these but its not going that well. it recomends smart/work or any light cotton trousers. not really a big wearer of these- only at work.
anyway- really good trick- i just need to fiddle with it to suit me.

I got this through this morning.

I couldnt stop laughing when I opened the package. Wasnt dissapointed in the slightest, its just that I thought it would be one of those moments when you think ' Arrgh.. why didnt I think of that ' .. but it wasnt.

The method is pure genious... and ever so simple.. I know this is going to be a strong effect. Very well thought out.

Ill post up a comprehensive review when Ive played around with it.

This will definately fit in as a great closer in a few of my routines.

I know ID you do this all the time- I tell myself I'm buying no more material until I've learnt the stuff I already have. Then you come on and give all these great reviews telling us to buy these things. I'm gonna cut my credit card in two, its the only way that I'll learn!!

Agreed...

We need to identify the carrier and burn him - burn him NOW!

[Looks pointedly in ID's direction... ]
