What deck is used in "On the pass"?

Postby magicforfun » Feb 27th, '07, 16:56

I had the opportunity to see On the pass, by Richard Kaufman today. Very instructive video by the way. My question is what type of deck he is using in the video. Really beautiful cards, although it is difficult to see the motive.

By the way, OT, but today I bought some Tally-Ho's with a linoid finish. What is the main difference to air-cushion finish (my bicycle cards)?

Nevermind the linoid finish. My friend google already sorted that doubt out.

Thanks!

I have the DVD but I don't remember what cards he uses. I'll have a look tonight when I get in to see if I can figure it out.

Is it just me or does Kaufman remind you of Borat too?

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh

Cheers! Much appreciated!

HAHAHA rofl. It was the first thing that I thought when I saw him. He does look like Borat! And he's got a strange way to speak too. Where is he from? Could he be from South Africa or something? Suppose gooogle will tell.

By the way. The big Ace of Diamonds has Tahoe (or something similar) written all over it.

I think they were Accro or Arco cards. Richard was talking about them a lot in Almanac around the time the video was shot.

Take care, Ian

Thanks, but they aren't nor http://www.kardwell.com/stream.htm, neither http://www.kardwell.com/usreg.htm. Still looking, but no luck so far.

Hi there,

I just got a mail from Richard (I had asked him about the cards). In his words:

As far as the cards on my Pass video, yes, they are Arccos.

Hope that helps,

Take care, Ian
