I know that dat8962 makes his own so you can try and PM him - I'm one of the lazy ones as I've always bought mine ready-made

If you mean that you are tearing them while splitting them....then try this. When you get the corner split, you will have a thin white layer, and a thicker grey area with another white layer still attached.....following so far? when you go to pull and seperate them, lay the white part face down on a table and then work at pulling the thicker grey area away from the thin white outer layer......most people try to peel the thin white layer away from the thicker grey layer and this is when/where most of the tearing happens.

PM if I am not being clear enough!

It's trial and error I'm afraid.

I would HIGHLY recommend the Art of Card Splitting DVD which will give you some great tips on making these yourself and greatly increase your success rate. Will save you a fortune if you perform this enough as it will save buying them.

Does take time though but they will be as good as the bought ones and the problem with these is that they are ALL THE SAME card faces when you buy them.

Hmm....

I think I'll stick to buying them ready-made for the time being. At 40p ish per card, I think it's money well spent :? - the only downside is that all the cards are of the same value
