If you want an idea try either of these two books…

One by the superb ( not cunning ) linguist Deborah Tannen

That's Not What I Meant!: How Conversational Style Makes or Breaks Your Relations with Others http://www.amazon.co.uk/Thats-Not-What- ... 325&sr=1-4

Or

The Essential Difference: Men, Women and the Extreme Male Brain by Simon Baron-Cohen…and yes he is related to Sacha, he’s his cousin, as well as being a leading expert on autism
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Essential-Diffe ... 192&sr=8-1

The first explores what the linguistic differences are between the way men and women express themselves ( and no I don’t mean men say bu**er more ). The other reduces our differences to a purely biological level ( and no I do not mean meat and two veg ), the way are brains literally work .

Hefty, but worth a read.

do they explain what it means if a girl keeps turning you down, then looks at you jealously when you dance with someone else?

I would say that's a sign of she likes you but she is not ready to commit or something that's just my opinion thoe. Maybe you should just ask her out straight and make it clear it's the last time you are going to ask her out and if she turns you down tell her your not going to bother her that way anymore and your going to start looking elsewhere and if she say's yes you have a bonus anyway goodluck.

I've been reading that recently, it's a very interesting read indeed... and that question was playing on my mind too, so thanks for clearing that up :D

Here's how it works: Heads they win, tails you lose.

Any questions?

My wife read this book ' Women are from Mars Men are from Venus '

I actually read this book and it makes a lot of sense.. It highlights what women think in certain situations and how men think in those very same situations. It highlights what a woman meaans when she says what she says and what a man really means when he says, sorry.. grunts his expressions. It tells women how to respond to a man and tells an man how to respond to a women.. Its a proper girly girl book but read it and I guarantee..

you better have the sack ready

Whoops, I’m slipping into psych mode….

It is the rule of scarcity : Something that is freely available is not as attractive as something that is scarce.

e.g. You want a copy of “ Psychological Subtleties “ but only “ Psychological Subtleties 2 “ is available on most e-retailers sites…you want the original book more. Well, at least I do.

You, by asking someone out, show that you are freely available…your not as attractive as a “ commodity “.By dancing with someone else, you made yourself less available, your attractiveness as a “ commodity “ increased.

Try being your usual self, but a tad more aloof. Dude, how I wished it were not so but there is a lot of truth in old adage ...” treat ‘em mean keep ‘em keen “.

But once you are with someone, keep it exclusive. Don’t mess around because if all trust is lost…your bu**ered

never a truer word has been said! though to this day i still claim that we weren't together......

a guy kisses a girl's friend - the girl is pretty miffed at the guy
a girl kisses a guys friend - the guy is miffed at the guy who kissed his girl.........

:P

ah well.....im off to birmingham this week, but the week after i might just start playing mon cards with her again, and seeing her reactions 8)

sorry to say this mate but just because you thought you were on a break dosn't meen she thought we were.

to a man a kiss is just that a wet thing that hapens when two lips touch.
to a women a kiss has emotional attachments and means a whole difernt thing on several levals.

I have to admit Beard that if I'm after a girl I generally wouldn't get of with one of her mates.

I girl who had been getting it on with one of my mates said to me at the weekend that she liked me. I had to say to her that its a bit late for telling me this now then ta but no ta.

So I set my sights on another girl, things were going well until I starting drinking vodka............ I can't remember much after that.

Moral of the story: I had a good night

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.
