Handling the Raven without the DVD

Postby The beginner magician » Mar 13th, '07, 23:25

Hey guys, I'm having a little bit of trouble with my Raven since I do not have the dvd because the shop was out of stock. The problem is, I do not know how to show my hands empty before the trick, and how to tranform coins to other objects. If anyone knows the answers to these questions, please reply, or pm if with greater detail....thanks :)

:? Your not gonna get any answers to questions like that on here.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

Well I've always wondered about the Raven and because of the whole exposure thing am left wondering is it was even something I would want. There seem to be Ravens made by several different companies. Are they all the same? And I'm left conflicted because if it works like lets say a PK they that would interest me but if it works on an IT reel than the set up would annoy the c*** (not the best) out of me. So I've never gotten one. Then theres the whole black widow and bat and the list goes on. There are so many gimmicks to make something disappear from your hand so you really have no idea what it is you are paying for.

Exposure is bad for magic, ofcourse but so is young magicians being turn off from it all together because they feel they got ripped of.

You don't even want to know how much I paid for my first gimmick which turned out to be nothing more than a TT...
