My name is Rob Laughter. I'm a magician and university student (in no particular order) from the 'States. I've been performing for some time now, but I've only recently started doing more organized shows as I've lacked the venues to do so in the past.

My current core routine is about 45 minutes long, blending rope magic, silk magic, card effects, and mindreading with inspirations from Derren Brown, Gazzo, and Richard Sanders. I'm constantly evolving, discovering new and more efficient methods for achieving the same effect, and bettering my performance style.

I'd like to think I'm reasonably proficient, and even though I'm a new member to this forum, I feel I have much to contribute. Feel free to ask any questions you may have of me!

I'm at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. Small college, academics-intensive, but I find time for my passions in between the studying, working, and drinking... err... "sleeping."
