I had both my nipples pierced one saturday afternoon 3 years ago and haven't regretted it since because piercings aren't permanent - you can take them out if you get fed up with them and they heal up with no scarring if you're lucky. I have been interested in getting a tattoo for a while but don't think I will because I'll most probably regret it and anyway its more fun laughing at other peoples stupid tattoos when you don't have any yourself!

I'm presently designing a Maori inspired tatoo that extends from elbow to shoulder blade. It incorporates Golden Spirals, Julia Sets and the Belousov-Zhabotinsky Reaction.

Not a lot of people know this, but my left one was done in 1994. It was the most pain I have EVER felt. I felt like a raw steak having a pencil pushed through me. I took it out a couple of years later because the length of the piercing made it easily irritated. I always meant to get it re-done, but I've never got round to it. Barring a tiny scar at the entry and exit, it healed completely.

My friend had one of her's done a couple of years ago, sounded very painful. She had to wear a sports bra for the next week or so because she was so sore.

Just the thought of it makes me cringe

It was so intensely painful I was beyond crying out. It simply took my breath away completely. (Try getting into a cold shower. It has the same effect, but substitute pain for temperature). It only took about 15 seconds, but it felt like 5 minutes. Now with this "debate" about the value of information extracted under torture, I can't see there's any argument. If a nipple piercing is mild by comparison, I can see how anyone would say anything you want them to under torture. The moon's green? Sure! Osama Bin Laden seen with Elvis on the Moon. There he is, dancing to Blue Hawaii in a hoola skirt in the Sea of Tranquillity! George W Bush is a genius. There's none smarter!

My friend had his 'old fella' done, not the full albert but....I dont know how to put this delicately.....half way through with it coming out of the pee exit.

Delicate enough?

Anyway he reckons it didn't hurt that much although he does get twin jets when he goes to point the pink pistol at the porcelin firing range.

Seems like alot of hassle to me.

I remember when I went to the pub once this geezer had a piercing both ways in his ol boy and we knew because he was bragging about it like it was the best thing in the world, oh yeah plus he had completely see through trousers on. When I walked in toilet guess who was in there, yep only him, I went to walk up to the toilet then changed my mind because it was coming out in 5 different directions and that was just from my view from behind him. It was the most horrific thing I have ever seen.

the one Ive always wanted is as follows.

My upper right arm. A huge portion of skin torn away.. the veins being shreddded and ripped.. blood splattered everywhere.. with a mean mother of a huge maggot ( kinda like the wichiti grub but giant ) with sharp teeth working his way out from the inside doing all the damage. Red eyes and just looking evil.

2nd tatoo -- running from my pelvic area  ( as in my waistline ) a python wrapped around my lower waist.. then stretching up my back with his head arched back and fangs open right by the left side of my neck.. but then .. rather than looking to bite.. he just winks  ( a big inuendo  )

i remember years ago, i got a phone call from a mate, he was in hysterics, he said his flatmate had gone to the lav with a sterilised needle to pierce his bags

i could bearly hear him above the screaming...what an idiot genius...

if your stomachs are strong enough, there used to be a book called The Modern Primative, some truly disturbing piercings in there...and some funny tatoos...

one was of a guy who had shaved a *ahem* area of himself, and had a tatt of popeye with his legs open and a thumb up in the air...

but some of the tattoos were from the great omi (if memory serves) tattooed all over...and a fakir that had a part of his body, almost split in two (and it still worked!), and pierced, and he wore himself with these chain like braces!...and his wife loved it apparently...

nowt so queer as folk...

Mine didn't hurt that much even afterwards cause they sprayed something on it which froze it and made it numb but they bled quite a lot after I pulled the dressings off some 3 hours later.
I had my eyebrow pierced and that was much worse than getting my nips pierced as my vision was blurred for a couple of seconds from the blood and tears (the eye produces tears to heat it up to combat the cold from the anaesthetic) and I was scared that she'd hit a nerve but she hadn't luckily (they feel for nerves before and work around them)
Now go get a chicken breast and stab a skewer through it

He he!

Do eyebrow piercings always reject? I have a feeling I've read that the skin will slowly push the piece out.

As a kid growing up in the late 70s, everyone had their ears pierced, so I didn't, just to be rebellious.
