Lennart Green and Fred Kaps on You Tube

Postby Soren Riis » Jan 2nd, '07, 13:33

While I PM a certain member it turned out he never heard about Lennart Green or Fred Kaps. To get an idea of these great magicians here are 2 clips of each. The Fred Kaps routine become realy freaky around 5-6 min into the routine!

He he. That clip is nearly 31 years old but the moving cork routine could still keep a spec enthralled today!

I loved Lennart Green's Top Shot colour change! It does look amazingly difficult too. I don't think I'll ever use it if I learnt it though. I might pick up a copy of Green's DVD to learn the laser deal. It looks great. I'm not too sure which DVDs are the best... anyone care to help?

Fred Caps moving cork was great!!

I'd not heard of Lennart either until Soren mentioned him responding to my intro post. (Yes - I've been living under a rock)

I downloaded a clip of his 'laser deal' soon after and was blown away - this is one special magician. I could see his dry sense of humour may not be for everyone but I think he's hysterical. I've ordered Green Lite now and can't wait to get it.

Couldn't help but think this was funny:

I suppose I better go check Mr. Caps now..

The Laser deal is taught on Vol.6. The Top shot and Top shot colour change is covered in Vol.1. Personally i think Vol.1 is the best to get first of all, it encludes a performance of his entire F.I.S.M act, plus it has a lot about the Lateral palm, and lots of really good ideas involving it.

This thread is also very useful http://www.talkmagic.co.uk/ftopic1903-0-asc-0.php

Fournier is the standard Spanish playing card and it can be found anywhere here in Spain. I use Tally-Ho's, Bicycles and Fourniers. I find the Fourniers to be much stiffer than bicycles, and still a bit stiffer than Tally-Ho's. Though I am not so fond of the plastic coated finish. Prefer air-cushion finish.
