Watched Criss Angel's 2nd series this week. (ITV4 Tuesday and Wednesday).
However one of his tricks before this was pulling 2 metal tables together, standing on them under a spectator's towel and disappearing. Now this for me is just too good; particularly since there were a number of people in the background that I suspect would have had a good view of what was going on as the towel didn't cover the back very well. I know the rules, I don't want to know how this was done, I just hope there was more to it than stooges and camera trickery.
His walking across the swimming pool whilst spectators swim under his feet was very impressive.

I've just had enough of Criss Angel, he was okay in his Supernatural special as it didn't have switchy angles and was performing some stage stuff as well that is actually possible.

I mean I was watching one the other night were he escaped from a coffin filled with explosives, just before a car hit it, once he managed to pull it off he then started throwing cones around whilst screaming at his enjoyment of his escape. Is that good showmanship?

TV magic should be uncut clips for showing effects, the thing with magic on TV like Criss Angel's is that there is way to much angle switching. Good to watch from a director point of view, but not necessarily a viewer.

Don't you know that those spectators are planted there?
