Hello all,
After lurking around here for a few weeks and reading numerous reviews I've decided to join :)
still most definitely a novice in magic Ive decided to try my hand once more at the art-after having a long break. What brought me here in the first place was research on the M5, luckly I found a number of reviews, however being a poor student :( it looks a bit expensive. Anyone found a site which sells it cheaper or sells something similare? Dont sterotype me as a tight Scot :P Im just a poor Scot
any help would be much appreciated
thanks

Hi and i think theres a m5 knock off brand which is just as good as the normal one.

Heres a link just copy and paste into the address bar.
http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=271

If your just getting into magic i reccomened royal road to card magic, modern coin magic, and mark wilsons complete guide in magic. Those books will get a feel for you of what you like. M5 will probably make you feel like your cheating because i doubt it takes any skill. Your choice though, but those three books will cost you $30 and have about 1000 pages together.

You are correct, the books are better value for money( as well as better learning devices) . however I own Modern coin magic and the royal road to card magic, they have given me a basic grounding in working with coins and cards but I still have much more to learn from them

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
