What size are black tiger decks?

Postby harrison » Mar 21st, '07, 18:14

I have looked everywhere for a black tiger deck WHICH IS BRIDGE SIZE however it seems that the actual size of the cards, be they poker or bridge are not mentioned anywhere?

Also if anyone could tell me where to find some decent bicycle bridge size cards (prefferably not red/blue backs) could they tell me.

thanks!!! :D

www.magicbox.uk.com and http://www.cards4magic.co.uk both sell bridge bikes I think.

But I would advise you to use poker size. They won't take long to get used to :P

Whilst Cards4Magic do sell bridge sized Bikes, they don't sell bridge size Tiger as they're not made by the USPCC in that size. And before you ask, neither are Ghosts

But Tigers and Ghosts are both from Ellusionist and I thought only Ellusionist can sell these decks. If that's correct there is no chance you will get bridge sized Tigers as Ellusionist will not customise decks for you

These are made by the USPCC for Ellusionist - a sort of commission which the USPCC will gladly do if you order enough decks. Take a look at their web site.

Ellusionist then sell onto other stockists - or they order in bulk from Ellusionist as an individual rather than a dealer. Anyway, there are plenty of stockists of Tigers and Ghosts around if you look around the magic dealers.

Ellusionst will not get a few bridge sized decks for you as they don't make them and the mainstream market prefer Poker sized anyway. However, you can't go to the USPCC as they will be copyrighted by Ellusionist as their own design (most probably).

Therefore, by default you won't get any other than standard Poker sized Tigers and Ghosts!

Strangely enough there's a Tiger deck which is half the size of a poker deck.
Only useful for a deck change effect though I would have thought.

that's the "mini deck". Most of the special decks that Ellusionist carries are also available in this mini format.

Oops - forgot about the mini decks but again, they're Ellusionist. Aren't they slightly less than half size?

awh man THIS SUCKS! i guess you are all american because you talk about poker size decks as "standard size". i got used to the standard size in the UK (bridge size) and now whenever i pick up a poker size deck it screams THIS IS NOT RIGHT! :(

anyone else like bridge size and know where i can get some good quality cards?

NOT TRUE - Most of us are in Blighty!

We talk about Poker size decks as it's relevant to the question that was asked at the top of this post.

You can get normal Bikes in bridge size from www.cards4magic.co.uk but they are reds and blues which you specifically said that you didn't want.

If you can't find what you need at http://www.cards4magic.co.uk/ then they probably don't exist.
You wont find a wider range of cards anywhere else.
