That's a stereotype and I'm offended

Seriously, though, I think that's rather accurate.

As for the number of posts and restricted areas, I saw an account that had access that had (get this) zero posts. Crazy, innit? :?

That could be because if a professional or well known magician joins and lets the admin know they are let in the restricted area as a matter of courtesy. It's in the thread about the restricted section somewhere

Entry isn't decided by one person alone, it's a kind of voting system. It's not automated.

And it's not always based on knowledge...

Sometimes, people are invited in if it's thought the MO area will BENEFIT FROM them, as well as if the MO area will BENEFIT them.

It's nothing to do with liking or disliking someone... it's actually a very fair process.

And it's also nothing to do with brown-tonguing.

And, for information, the members who get in there with very few posts are USUALLY old-standing members who have re-joined.

We usually find that the people who NAG to get in get no benefit from being in there, and actually stop posting here!

You guy sare pathetic I was just just thanking you guys for making such a nice community and that I love posting on it. This is a forum to chat and talk about things. As you say this was a totally pointless thread and I was just spamming look at your self your the spam inside it!!!!!! Yea this post is the can but you guys are obiously the spam because I said nothing about restricted forums. I can care less of the restricted forums right now. So look at your post saying this is spam. By saying "this is spam" it's really just going to bump this thread and make it have more posts...

Theres a difference.
They had an actual conversation about something.; something worth while.
Unlike yours which was just "bragging" or pointing out how many posts you have.

No I was saying thank you in a different way. I was saying how i love posting here. The title would have been "look at how many posts I have!" if i was bragging.
