Symbologic - ESP trick is this as good as it sounds & worth buying or should I look at another ESP trick?

Symbolic sounds very good, but if you are looking for a really simple and very effective ESP trick then you really have to consider ESPerfect. Additionally it really is very self working, so there's nothing to remember.

The full review is at:-

The other ESP type trick I am having an awful lot of fun with at the moment is "Predicta". It is also pretty easy (although not quite as self working as ESPerfect), and the ending just has to be seen to be believed. No one has any idea how this is done. It has the downside of being more expensive - but IMHO is worth the extra money.

Thanks for the links

I have read the reviews & they all sound great, I am not quite sure how good the scratch card looks, the reason I mention this is because in the past people are amazed at the end of the effect but know that I am using something? the only good part is that you can give them the scratch card to take away, I will have to think about this one as the cost is high but sounds good.

Vats wrote about the 'National Lottery Trick' as below:-

"Natural Lottery - The gasp-getting opener to Anthony's Monday Night Magic act. The magician asks six random audience members to each select a different number between 1 and 49. Amazingly, these numbers are the same six which are on the printed lottery ticket the magician purchased earlier that day! "

Some Tricks - Anthony Owen

WHO WANTS TO BE A MAGICIAN?

A hilarious trick based upon the hit television show ‘Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?’. A spectator uses their innate psychic ability to pick the correct answers to multiple choice questions even though they do not know the possible answers! And they do it perfectly fifteen times in a row to win a million! Just like Paul Curry’s classic Out of this World the spectator will be the hero and not have a clue to how they did it.

NATURAL LOTTERY

This gasp getting opener to Anthony’s Monday Night Magic act is ideal for any stage or platform performance. The magician asks six random audience members to each select a different number between 1 and 49. Amazingly these numbers prove to be the same six which are on the printed lottery ticket the magician bought earlier that day! You might not be able to win the lottery, but you can influence your audience members to pick the numbers you want them to! No pre show or limited selections.

NUMBER AT CARD

A unique solution to a legendary card effect. A deck is handed to a spectator for safe keeping. A playing card and a number between 1 and 52 are both freely named (no forces, pre show work or limited selections). The deck is opened and it is revealed that every card has a different number between 1 and 52 printed on its back —and incredibly the selected card bears the selected number!

OIL AND WATER

The improved handling for Anthony’s acclaimed super clean Oil and Water sequence. Three red and three black cards are alternated and magically separate. After being performed twice with the cards face down it is done with all the cards dealt FACE UP and impossibly the colours still separate.

Any reviews on the above book or any of the tricks would be a great help.

symbolic = symbologic.

did someone ask if it could be jumboised or am i having a brain hemorage again, maybey another thread, anyway yes you could jumbo this trick but you would loose one of the routines egh tom

but then you could have two stands at opposit ends of the room and read the persons body languge and key words said darren brown style  so dont be put off buying this nice trick because of one slightly tacky move.
