Hey, that's pretty good, I.D.!

What I'm talking about is getting a pack of Polos, you take it home, open it carefully at one end and insert the rolled up note. Close it back up, so that it appears to be untampered with.

Then, when you go to the store, using your magician powers, put the Polo pack with the others (in the states, they have these things right at the counter that you pay at...Otherwise, just take it up as regular, to pay for it with your other stuff).

Anyway, while your checking out, put the pack of Polos with your other stuff, then talk about the "new contest that Polo has going" wherein they are giving money away with packs of Polos.

Open your pack, right there, at the counter and get a big surprise when you open it to find that you are the big winner of a 10 pound note!

I can attest to the fact that when done with Life Savers here in the states it gets a really funny reaction!

Mike.

Thats pretty good. I think the best thing to do would be hang out in a shop ( without looking suspicious ) and wait till someone picks up a packet of polos. Purposely make them see you take 'the packet next to them'

Then make sure you get right in front of them in the queue. They will be screwing that they never picked up that packet!!

I've done a similar thing in the pub.

Talking about promotional beer mats, and how some have five pound notes in ( loudly enough so I'm overheard ).

Then proceed to rip a few open before finding a fiver in one.

You can be guaranteed that by the end of the night there are not too many beer mats left in one piece.
