The MagicCafe's Censorship Rules—you think TM is bad!?!?!?!

A meeting area where members can relax, chill out and talk about anything non magical.

The magic cafe will remove posts in threads they don't approve of. They will also delete sections of any post that make references to the deleted posts. Any post that mentions the actions of moderators (praise, blame, good or bad) are removed.

Unless you want to argue over who is currently ripping off who, there is little point going on the magic cafe anyway.

Egh the cafe. I signed up for that forum ages ago without looking around and when I went to introduce myself there was about 10 catorgories on introduction aswell as 10 different catorgery per subject on everything else. Needless to say I have never posted there it's way too confusing and to many subjects.

Oh but you must be careful on that issue as well in that many of the biggest thieves of magic are good buddies with Jabba the Hut who runs the joint, and he defends them to the death.

The majority of the boot legged manuscripts now in circulation, come directly from noted Cafe Members... a certain Mr. Nesbit over there was caught and exposed by Rick Maue and I nearly two years ago and yet, they've made him a god on that site.

What a strange place ok I want to discuss a coin trick .. sub forum classic palm.. sub forum right hand...subforum medium coin.. subforum...silver coin.

Christ on a bike deck the idea of a womans forum made me giggle "Us gentle men are going to retire to the drawring room to discuss mentalisim and the likes you stay here and talk about silks and stuff"

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

As for the hutch, censorship doesn't seem that bad there (Mike Jay is a great mod) but they harp on endlessly about stuff that is just, well, boring.

For example for a week after Blackpool five of the top ten threads were about who'd been to Blackpool. Yawn.

The artist who does not rise, descends.

Well...

The latest news... I've had even more posts removed, after it's been 'revealed' that being a PAID ADVERTISER grants you certain 'priviledges'.

These seem to include having comments about your products, i.e. criticism or comments, removed by the 'staff'.

Oh joy! This is certainly biased censorship!

And two PMs of 'cafe staff' seem to confirm this little bit of info.

What a bloomin corrupt place the cafe is.

I would quite frankly recommend that unless you are praising something, don't bother posting—as they don't like reality there!

I like your new avatar, Seige.

Have you reached your "Bottom" with all this yet? (Fans of the show will know, the rest of you... well, you're the rest of you)

Being a paid advertiser gets you only so far. Jolly Roger was a paid advertiser but he got kicked out anyway!

Mind you he is still there! Shh.........Don't say I told you so.

As for me I have been kicked out of there approximately thirty thousand times or so.

However I have now discovered a secret way in. See if you can spot me........................

No. That is not me. I am laying very low at the moment. I will erupt eventually when I require amusement.

Be a sport and reserve ringside seats please. It appeals to my darker side to playfully smirk at such things.

A very sad thing indeed. The only reason why I still to to the café is to use it as some kind of encyclopedia, when I need more information about a certain subject. :)

Due to abuse of the privelege, the Magic Café currently blocks "free" email addresses and certain other addresses, including Yahoo, Hotmail, and many other free services which may or may not offer a paid service as well. Other email addresses may be blocked on a case-by-case basis.

If the email address you enter is blocked and you believe it should not be, please send an email address to Email Please do not send an email asking us to allow your free email address. At this time there is no alternate method of registration for those having only a blocked email address, though we are considering other options.

Posts go missing in the Magic Cafe when people post negative comments about preferred members. Wouldn't happen here would it?

would it?

"it has been removed not at the request of TM members, but due to the opinion of certain TM members that this post was blatant advertising, biased review and 'favouritism'."

No Seige, certain TM members thought you were being too controling when you threatened to lock the thread and demanded that anyone who disagreed with any of the posts should PM you privately. Interesting that the thread was pretty much deleted after questions were asked about your interests.
