3m Remount?

Postby dizzydog » Jan 10th, '07, 00:48

Any of you using this on your cards for sticky tricks?

I cant find anywhere in my town locally at all. I saw a DVD where the magician taught a whole series of tricks and his cards he used Remount on them.

This is sold in Stapes although I don;t know if they are planning to discontinue it as my local had it at half price over the Xmas period.

Not sure why :?

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

I found something better actually!

Scotch Glue Stick: Repositionable

Works exactly the same and is super easy to apply.

I've had trouble getting hold of this too. I have been told that it's something that every magician has around the house.
Glad I'm not alone! :D
A Pritt Stick could possibly be a good alternative solution. I repaired a Rising Deck using this and it works fine with just another dab now and then to refresh it.

Changin'Glue

You can also use a product called Changin'Glue. Anthony Owen devoted a whole book to the stuff. You can get it a number of places online including: http://www.bicycletricks.co.uk

I was thinking about that last post and hope it doesn't look like a blatant plug (since I look after the bicycletricks site). But I don't run the site commercially - it is more of a personal service, originally designed to help magicians get hold of small quantities of gaff bicycle cards - and as such I am pretty sure that it is cheaper than any 'commercial' site I have found so far.
