Reset is a very nice effect to learn since it requires a lot of useful packet moves that also come in handy in other effects.

I'm telling you the amount of great material within these books is outstanding. Even while i was practicing some of the routines i supprised myself with the outcome of some tricks. It's like i got to feel like a spectator while actually doing them. Does that make any sense???

Me too! These books have been high on my list for some time.
I have heard nothing but praise for the effects in them.

So awsome... so this is in the Art of Astonishment? Is there only a book or is there a dvd too?

The only place I know of it is in Art of Astonishment. I recently bought all three and have yet to even come to this effect yet! I'm so caught up with the amazing ones elsewhere! It is an amazing investment and I reccommend it to everyone.

People keep telling me how brilliant Art of Astonishment books are.

However I sort of beg to differ. I have Art of Astonishment Vol 2 and other than Overkill and the linking cards effects - which effects are brilliant out of this book? I must be missing something because 85% of it seems to be half baked "ideas" stuff made into routines. Not much really solid.

Please tell me why I'm wrong.

BTW, is this excellent Reset performance on the youtube the original PH version from Art of Astonishment or is it one of the many other versions around?

It's very similar to the original in that the basic effect is still there but the handling is more complex then the original. The beauty part of the Art of Astonishment is that it gives you the ability to change the routines to make your own. I have all three of the Art of Astonishment and to be honest volume 2 is i think the weakest of the three but still and excellent book.

That was truly amazing. Very smooth indeed - very different to Paul Harris' original handling. The cogs in my head are straining to spot all the steps.......argh.

Where can I get the Art of Astonishment? I have some other really good books but I can never find this series.
