Who is Kevin Hopkinson?

Postby mark lewis » Mar 29th, '07, 15:46

Is there a Kevin Hopkinson on this forum?

Someone by this name purchased my e-book recently and I suspect he read about it here because the gentleman is from Manchester in the UK.

He also ordered the mouse book which is NOT an e-book. He has sent me several messages complaining that he has not received the "download"

I have sent him several messages in return explaining repeatedly that the mouse book is NOT a download and that he will be receiving it in the mail. And yet he keeps asking the same question time after time in reply asking why I have not sent him the "download".

I am concerned that he is not receiving my messages although I have not seen any indication that they are bouncing back.

If any of you know him PLEASE tell him the situation before I have a nervous breakdown trying to explain repeatedly that the mouse book is NOT a download. Hopefully the bloody thing will arrive in the mail for him soon and the penny will finally drop.

Can't help with the 'missing person's bureau' request, but it's odd that anyone would assume this to be a download, given this excerpt from your site...

...As a special bonus section we have also included a description of Marmaduke the Mouse's cousin in operation. The cousin is the famous squirmle which walks, crawls and rises out of a glass. It is a furry, fuzzy little creature which looks like a giant worm. Really attention getting.

The cost of the book is only $20.00 AND we include a FREE mouse! Not only that we pay the postage world wide!
$20.00 US Postpaid Worldwide

The mind doth boggle.

I thank Tomo for the link and congratulate him on his psychic powers because just before he posted it I had already done a search for this gentleman and found the same link.

I have already checked it out but regrettably there is no phone number for the gentleman.

I have already sent Marmaduke and his book to Manchester and I hope they find a home since Marmaduke has never been to Manchester and I don't want him too traumatised by the place. He is a very timid little mouse.

You made a book out of a mouse while he was alive? Thats bordering on animal cruelty!!

I did have a whole second paragraph planned now but conveniently forgot what I was meant to say!!

Anyway, Im sure Kevin will be thrilled with his new purchase and im sure the mouse will enjoy his new surroundings.. manchesters not so bad.. just make sure you dont leave the house.. and while you're there.. dont own any furniture, dont keep cash on you and be sure to have the windows boarded up.. safe as!!

Am I still talking??

They will know you are using one but they will be astonished at your handling of it. It is light years ahead of what people are doing now. The funny thing is that the moves are as old as the hills but there has been virtually nothing written about them up to now.

I learned the moves from Joe Stuthard, Ron Macmillan, Jackie Cook and others decades ago and yet if you see someone do the svengali deck they continue to use the rather awful "tell me when to stop" dribbling thing or the overused move called the run which although I use it myself has limited effectiveness.

Magicians have always underestimated the svengali deck using it only as a force deck or for one specific trick.

They are missing out on a very powerful trick. Magicians will recognise that you are using a trick deck but if you use it correctly laymen won't. Especially if you have them examined.

what do you mean by "have them examined"?
do you mean like, hand them out to the spectators.?Is this possible with a Svengali deck?
