Yesterday I went down one of my mates house and there was a woman there ive never seen before and she asked me my job. Obviously I said I'm a magician and she asked me for a business card, so I gave her my card and she started asking what sort of magic I do, so I told her, Then came the question she said I'm interested in booking you how much do you charge, so I told her and her being a single mum couldn't afford the price so to my face she blatently asked can I pay you half and ill sleep with you for a show. Now I was pretty shocked at this request so my question is has anyone else had any strange requests like this?.

That sounds like something straight out of a magician porno.

Anywho.. If I were you ( i,e: not married ).. Id pretend to think about it.. and accept her offer, acting like Im doing her a favour.

Seriously though - never had this or heard of anyone else who has received a similar proposition, although I suspect that it happens fairly often.

If it were me, I suspect she would have paid the full amount

Seriously.... hehehehe.... I don't believe her. She just wanted to check if you'd do it as exchange for a service. What if you would've told her you're her rubbishman (or garbageman or whatever you say in UK)? Would she have asked you for a quicky in return for coming home to her collecting her rubbish?

The only none-monetary offer I ever had to perform magic was a couple of crates of beer from the local pub.

Still, the landlady is a minger—so that's just as well.
