Finger Ring on String / Rope Routine - A place to buy rope??

Postby The Last Deck on the Left » Mar 29th, '07, 20:28

Hi there,

I've recently started to learn a finger ring on string routine. However, I'm using an old shoe lace at the moment, and wondered about buying some nice thin rope.

I've searched a few shops online, but their rope seems to be the thick sized, for standard cut and restored type effects.

Any ideas for a good place to buy thin rope?

Cheers,

:D

milinaries or as we in the uk call them dressmaking sewing shops should have many variations of cord for your purpose.
failing that kids shops sell jasssy laces and string.

House of Magic in Stourbridge had some nice quality thin rope when I was last in there a few weeks ago that would be suitable for your needs. If you give John a call then he may have some left.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
