I've not used MS messenger so I can't comment, but AIM is a free download from for example http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=AIM&tg=dl-20&search=+Go%21+

MSM is also available from this site.

Tell us more about the web cam feature on MSM Gareth?

... if you have a webcam, MS Messnger will allow to to view you and a mate face to face in realtime, but you will need broadband speed to use it better.

I have soften spoken and webcamed with Druid and its a great way to teach or show a trick.

The only problem is that you can't do a group webcam, but the software works fine. You may have been using 6.0 which was rubbish, but the new 6.1 version is fine.
