Right everyone let's keep this one friendly I don't want none of this I believe, I don't believe. I was wondering has anyone had any creepy encounters. One of mine is I was arguing with the missuss and sitting on the top step while she was downstairs in the kitchen and suddenly I heard some noise like someone was walking up the stairs, every stair creeked in succession one after the other and when the noise got to the top step I went all cold and let out a wierd call to the missuss then suddenly the noise carried on all the way across the landing into the bedroom but like something started to run rather than walk and the noise was exactly like footsteps and the wood was creeping about the same distance apart as a footstep aswell. Obviously I ran down stairs to the missuss scared out my wits and she just told me to get lost because we were arguing. So anyone else had anything wierd like this happen.

The only one i have had was on my birthday when i was about ten. Couldn't sleep so i decided to go and have a bit play on the computers (which at the time was in the spare room). So i sat down with my feet under the desk and began playing then about 5 minutes later i felt the sensation of my feet being tickled with long nails which freaked me out enough. Then when iwas leaving i turned the light off and turned into the room to check everything was off and the sheets that were flat about 3 mins ago on the bed where now ruffled up and there was a lump as if someone was curled up at the top. Moved the computer into my room now though

I have a long-running dispute with the good lady husband regarding a stack of popadums that were left on a plate on top of our fridge. Two of the popadums ended up on the table when I was alone in the kitchen reading. I know I didn't move them, and neither did my partner, but he insists... There were a few fragments of popadum on top of the two that moved, as well, so I doubt they were blown there.

Lindz, is your house an old one? I know that in old houses, floorboards and the like can take a little time to spring back if someone has been walking on them. This can produce noises travelling across rooms and up stairs, sometimes immediately behind someone. I'm not saying that is what happened in your case, just alerting you to the possibility.

My house was built just after the war and no one was up stairs or on the stairs except me and I'd been sitting there for at least 15 mins. So that's what made it quite freaky I don't know what caused it but it scared the hell out of me. Actually there was another thing that used to happen aswell everytime we watched this freaky program the mirror in the bathroom used to fall down and it never fell down any other time and when we got bored of this program and didn't watch it no more the mirror never fell down again.

My mate was punched by a poltergeist.. It was me he was aiming for but I dodged.. my mates nose bled.

I also was downstairs at my mates while his sister was upstairs talking to her Dad through a Ouija board. She must have asked him a question because the house shook, and we heard a voice from underneath shout NOOOOOOOOOOOO

And another time I was at a friends house. I was staying over and at some point that night I ended up looking in the mirror.. some white dude walked past.. he had white hair.. and through the mirror I was watching he turned towards me and ran towards me.. his mouth was bleeding.. I shut my eyes and ran to find a light switch. I turned it on he was gone, I had laid a few bricks!!

And another time.. I was at my sisters.. a poltergeist was sniffing me while I tried to sleep.. I thought it was because I was high but apparantly the old man used to live there and died in the 30's.. didnt know he was dead

But I still dont beleive in ghosts.. poltergeists I do though

I was nealry asleep at my mates house downstairs with a few other people. We was nearly asleep after doing what usual 18 year olds do and there was a massive flash of blue light above the fireplace it was like a flourescent light and it sprayed a few meters out. Straight after the door slammed really loudly and making everyone sit up shouting "What the F*%$!".

Another time I woke up in my bed with no covers over me and I searched in my room and they were not anywhere. So I looked around the upstairs of my house and couldn't find them so I ended up covering myself with a pillow (i was about 7). I woke up shivering and thought I need to get my covers and had another search and they were in the mums room all the way over the other side. My mum is a proper light sleeper and wakes up when someone walks in the room so i don't have a clue how it got there.

poltergeists can hurt people!!
