As usual, I am struggling to find the most simple item. There are hundreds of places that want to flog me invisible decks and double-headed ravens, but I cannot find a simple spring.

I'm trying to do the hanger off spring effect from one of Osterlind's DVDs (a variation of "ring off spring"), but cannot find a suitable spring, and anything that looks almost half suitable on good old eBay is £50 because it's part of a precision suspension spring for a specific model of Honda!

Have any UK TMers had any luck with this?

It wants to be around 10cm long, a fairly stiff compression spring with ground/welded ends and around 4cm in diameter. Infact, it wants to look a lot like this:

Failing that, does anyone want anything for around $20 from magic.org who would be willing to split a package? I can find about $18 worth that I'd buy but I just refuse to spend an extra $20 to get free shipping, and without that it's $15 shipping anyway

Mate.. I have a spring that looks the REPLICA of what that link points to.. It is around 10cm I think, Ill check when I get home..
