Hello,
I guess I'm an AH, from Norway, and I first got interested in magic when I did my Neuro Linguistic Programming certification in the U.K a couple of years ago. There, I encountered several magicians, hypnotists and amateur pickpockets who really inspired me, and my introduction to the world of magic was first through mentalism and linguistics (Derren Brown, Kenton Knepper) before I started doing some metalwork (Banachek) and card tricks.

So far, I've not pursued anything to the point of performing, my knowledge and skills are very fragmentary. Recently, I've taken up sleight of hand, and I can't go anywhere without a deck of bikes or a stack of poker chips.

My contact with other magicians, amateur or other, is limited and I'm hoping to improve all aspects of my game (do you call it that? Or did I just make a damn fool of myself?) by coming here.

Sincerly,
B

Thanks for the warm welcome, people!
Actually, I'm not a gambler, I can't even play texas hold'em :) But I'm addicted to the chips now. I'm learning from Rich Fergusons dvd's at the moment.

As for Noxagt, I've actually seen them perform once :) Small world.
..or, small country, rahter..
