Hey, if you have 5 cards in your hand, and you only want to show 2 of them is this possible using the Elmsley Count?

Maybe you have to think towards a D/L kind of situation?

Theres a diminishing lift sequence on James Browns 'Fancy a pot of Jam? ' dvd. i think that would work. With an elmsley, you are showing 3 cards out of the 4.

The only way I can think of it to push off one card as you would with elmsley, but block push the 4 cards as one as you steal back the first

Flushtration count with a little variation.
Gemini count with a little variation.

Both can be found in Card College. Any questions, PM.

Not without the spec laughing at you as you cycle 1 card and 4 cards back and forth. You need to be showing 3 cards for elmsley to work.

Do you want to count 5 and only display 2? (Isn't this type of count going to be really tough - the spec will see one of the cards at least 3 times?)
Or just pass 5 cards off as if they were 2?

This is the same question I was gonna ask. Perhaps some detailon the routine might help aswell.

As for it being difficult to count 5 and display 2, it really depends on the routine. Perhaps he wants to show two same coloured backs 5 times, or a funky version of a Jumping Gemini style effect where he wants to show the ten of hearts or something 5 times without having to use just the one ten. This is exactly why we need more detail on the routine and what effect this count is to create.

That'll be a tall order without arousing suspicion. I'd prob try and show two cards as a fan and have the rest hid behind. Not actually count the cards but say here's two cards then quickly close up and move on before anything can be examined properly.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.
