A brick is 12 decks. Unless you're a working pro, they'll last you a long time.

If you want a walk-in shop, go to Merlins, but I strongly suggest you search online for a decent deal. I think I usually get mine from MagicBox.uk.com, who also do seconds which I challenge your average mortal to tell from normal decks (especially considering some appallingly mis-printed cards that get through quality control in a regular deck!)

Costco in Leeds do sell bikes in bricks, but its wholesale only, so you need to take proof of your business and register before you can use it

Wow... Bikes are ridiculously expensive in the UK!

I spend $1.50 USD per deck--that's about 75p.

We find that about many things imported over here! However I have seen blister packed single decks of Bikes on sale in US stores at $4.50 a deck which I thought was excessive. Bikes are mainly used in the UK by the Magic fraternity only and for 'normal' playing card applications, Waddingtons or any other decks are much cheaper.

Yeah theres a family friend who is taking us tomorrow (Friday), so I should be able to pick two bricks up as I don't feel I'll get the chance to go again for a long time.

Magic Mark told me that a brick was around £10.56, equaling 88p/deck which is a bargain - I pay 60p/deck of waddingtons now.

Thanks to everyone for the help!

where do you get waddingtons cards from for 60p please? i have a friend whose looking for them, but theyve become expensive now

BTW Costco charge VAT ontop of the price marked, so they end up slightly over 12 quid a brick

I picked up two bricks from costco today - the wads are from a shop on Thorn Lane, behind Roundhay High school! Search "roundhay school, leeds" on google maps and then find a thorn lane behind it, connected to Gledhow Lane! If you need some more help throw me a PM and I will gladly send a map! (google map screenshot with the shop and directions etc)
