Many thanks to all our loyal customers who have supported us. We truly care about you all and would like to apologize for the recent lack of stock. We feel we owe an explanation to you all. Essentially we have experienced the heavy hand of pressure from the “Big Boys” who obviously feel threatened by our presence in the magic market place.

Various “well known” and supposedly “well respected” magic companies decided that our prices were not to their liking, so they approached our common suppliers and we were told to raise our prices or else we would not be able to purchase goods from them!

Also we had our pre paid advertising from a well known supposedly neutral Weekly Magic web site removed for the same reasons.

Now I dont know if this is fair, so what if James wants to charge a lower price, thats the idear of business as far as I know. I just means others will have to charge less, and by the looks of it alot of mark up for the big boys and with thier buying power even more. I think its very unfair and feel very sorry for James.

I placed my order last Sunday, today i got an e-mail saying I'm getting a refund and a free deck of bikes. I hope he the site back up and running. The prices were well cheap and if the big companies don't like it then maybe they should cut their prices too.

When i asked magictricks.co.uk if they did a price match service, they said that they could not reduce prices to as low as wandmagic as it is run by a boy from his bedroom, who does not have the overheads of staff and warehouses.

Anyway, we'll have to wait and see i suppose.
