David blaine gives a spectator a new deck with plastic around. He ask him to open it and shuffle it. Then he takes any card, and shuffles the cards again. Then he shall spread the deck on the table, and David takes a menu card and a knife. He put the menu card over the cards, and stick the knife throw. The only card with are back after he shaked the table is the selected card.

I'm not sure that this trick is for sale but search David Blaine on google and it will probably be on his Dvd. I am not a fan of David Blaine because I don't like his style but hey, he is a extremely successful and pretty famous magician which is more than I can say for myself.

Hope this helps

If it's the one I'm thinking of it's a variation on the classic card stab. Check out Stars of Magic (the book) for a very good handling of it.

Honestly, why do you want to know? You didn't post an introduction, so I can't know for sure what your skill level is, but if you don't know card controls, I think a card stab might be a bit over your head.

Currently Reading "House of Mystery" (Abbott, Teller), Tarbell, Everything I can on busking

The book has the classic card stab - a card is selected, returned to the pack and spread all over the table face-down. With a blindfold on you bring the knife down onto one card and tip the table up so as to get rid of the others - of course the card you stabbed is the selection.

This guy is asking for help, got it and was grateful for it. Which bit needed modding?

It was not mentioned but perhaps the "new" deck has also added to your confusion. Just want you to know that any deck can appear to be packaged by repackaging it. The material can be purchased.
