Aldo Colombini lecture (No, this is not a rant)

Postby mistress of magic » Feb 3rd, '04, 17:32

Okay, I really don't know much about this and don't think I'll be going but I figured I'd post about it anyway , maybe someone else knows a bit more and could add to this.
Aldo Colombini is giving a lecture at the Scottish Conjurors Association. Walton Conference Centre, Southern General Hospital, Govan Road, Glasgow at 7:30pm. I tried their website ( www.scottishconjurersassociation.org.uk ... b_syllabus ) but there's nothing much there about it either, If you want to go, you could email them for more information. Even his own site ( www.mammamiamagic.com/ ) didn't have any info. but that part is currently being updated. One of the guys at my magic circle highly recomends it as I think he's been to a previous lecture, but don't quote me on it. That's all I know about this. Anyone got any more info?....

I know he is doing a round of lectures as our Magic Society turned him down (!""$$$%%%""!!!").

To be honest if I found he was doing one even remotely close to me I would go, as I have heard his lectures are not to be missed.

I'll ask around.

What is this 'cleaning' thing it speaks of? :? I think it got cleaned a couple of weeks ago actually.
I'll just copy your pound sign and save it somewhere. I'm pretty sure it's on my keyboard somewhere, most of them have just changed places- @ equals ". I'll find it one day, until that day, copy and paste, or buy new keyboard.

ahhhh
sounds like your pc thinks you are in America if some have changed round :)
I could try and describe it but it is much safer if you tell me your version of windows (98, me, xp etc) and I'll get you a link that shows you how to change it, it is very easy :)

Control panel/regional settings if you want to try while I look :)
