Anyone know who said that, or something like that?

heard it from various people, including Nyman, but couldn't tell you as yet who coined the phrase.

I once emailed Derren's producers to get some info on an article I was writing and got back a canned response which contained that line somewhere in the dozens of pages of copied-and-pasted FAQ material they sent me.

I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in an interview or audio commentary by Derren. But that's a lot of audio to go through.
