This is the package from Ellusionist. Has anybody got it? Is it worth getting?

I have Ninja. It's probably the best magic product I have ever gotten. Some of the stuff is pretty easy, while other material has takens me 6 months to master. Highly reccommended.

I have the Ninja vid. I am very pleased with the material it contains. It is very helpful and Brad Christian teaches a lot as far as the Vegas Cheat routine!! Its awesome!!! I will have to agree that some of the stuff is hard to master, but with practice, and I mean a lot of practice, you could be very well off in Card magic!! 5 stars in my book!

I am just about to buy "Basic Card Techniques" by ??? Kaufman. Does anyone have both this video and Ninja Card Techniques and if so, which one would you rate higher?

I have both 'Basic basic card technique' and the Ninja card techniques. If I was only going to buy one, it would be Kaufman's video, as it includes far more sleights and has better close-ups of hand position and so on. After all, it's a video rather than a series of clips designed for manageable download sizes.

That said, the material in 'Ninja' is well-presented, and very good on what it covers - while I appreciate all the comments elsewhere about originality and lack of credit given.

Well that's my Christmas present sorted then... I'll get the Kaufman video.

Thanks for your input.

I downloaded the Ninja routine, ( A saving of $10/= over the CD/Video) and think that the clips are well presented with clear explanations and camera angles. I would agree that some of the sleights are more difficult than others, but practice a good magician makes.
