I am new to magic and I want to get into Card magic.

Currently I have a few decks on order and already have a seven deck, can you advise as to what to do in order to move on. I have Royal Road on order to.
Thanks

Royal Road

Make a lifetime study of Royal Road....Just keep going through it and working the tricks/routines/sleights......Then start all over at the beginning again....You will save a lot of money and be WAY ahead of many pros.....

Wait until your cards and Royal Road are delivered - then move on by study and practice.

Don't be impatient!

Honestly royal road is all you need if your only interested in card magic. Keep practising and it will do you wonders. Also heres a little tip dont move on to the next part once you can do something keep on practising that move until your confident with it.

Thanks for that Opie, thats one hell of a list, I will do my very best with the book and will stick with each item till I get it, study time coming up, the book should come tomorrow I hope.

If I have a technical problem with some of the moves am I allowed to post on here or is that something that should be kept for a restricted area??

Thanks again

good to here rrtcm is number one on your list. I am going through it myself at the moment.
like the others say, go slow and practise 8)
I did not and now have to forget my bad habits and this is hard.
Get it right first time. Going slow at the begining will pay off greatly at the end.
good luck :D

You can ask technical problems in support and tips but you have to be careful because of exposure.
