I want to learn different ways to control a card (to the top, bottom etc) - do you know of a product I can buy which would feature different methods?

I think there's 2 versions available - a 4 disc one and a 5 disc one. I've got the 4 disc version but apparently the 5 disc version is alot better (and also quite alot more expensive too ).

I have the 5 DVD RRTCM with some guy Wilson and I think it's spectacular. I don't have the book so I can't comment on it or compare the two.

LOL it is Paul Wilson from The Real Hustle..... very good DVD set and compliments the RRTCM book.

If you are the creative sort, you can figure out your own way to control a card to the top or bottom. Also, do you want to learn how to control just one card or do you also want to learn how to control several cards to a desired location in the deck?

I don't know about the DVD but the Royal Road book has got pretty much everything you need to know in it.

Although indispensable for the beginner, Royal Road doesn't go deep enough for my liking.
There's no swing cut controls in there, which is probably what you're looking for.
There's also a lot more not in there such as colour changes, side steals, bottom palms, false cuts, culls, stacking, flourishes, etc...

iashraf just wants to learn diferent ways to control a card to the top, bottom etc, why would he be looking for a swing cut control? there are far more easier ways to get a card to the top or bottom, RRTCM shows them all!!!

RRCTM is not just for the beginer............. ARGhhhhhhh

I bought BORN TO PERFORM by Oz Perlman last year from Penguin magic after reading lots of recommendations and have not been disappointed. I notice that the Merchant of Magic have just started to sell this so it looks like they're distributers for Penguin and Ellusionist now.

It's a good dvd, but maybe better to go for RRTCM dvd for controlling cards.

Thanks to everyone, I will pick up RRTCM as soon as...

The book is dirt cheap on Amazon. The DVD set with Paul Wilson is superb. He shows everything clearly and teaches well.
I do think the book and DVD's go hand in hand. The DVD's are a great tool, but you can read the book on the bus, on the bog, under your desk at work etc.
