Best Expanded Shell 1/2 $?

Postby The Last Deck on the Left » Apr 17th, '07, 19:33

Hi guys,

I'm about to buy a 1/2$ Expanded Shell, but a friend of mine at the magic club said that some cheaper makes look distorted at the edges and are 'bowed' rather than having straight edges.

Can anyone suggest a good quality brand or a good supplier?

My searches through TM pages have so far come up with:

http://www.roykueppers.com/

But I wondered if there were any others that I could compare costs with.

Cheers!
:D

Hi again,

I'm answering my own question here - but thought I'd keep this post for reference. I've just found a couple more top quality expanded shell sites:

Well as for my experience.
I have bought cheap ones and they were O.K., but were a little distorted around the edges. I then bought one of Jamie Schoolcrafts expanded shells and it was absolutely superb quality. A really neat fit, no visible distortion at all and perfectly straight sides. For me it was definitely worth spending the little bit extra for a quality item.
