Messi scoring Maradona style

Postby magicforfun » Apr 19th, '07, 08:55

If you haven't seen it yet, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvPHc5_Kjh4&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Elionelmessi%2Eorg%2Fvideo%2Ephp%3Fitemid%3D554

What can I say? Saw it yesterday and didn't think I would see Maradona's goal vs. England in the World Cup '86 again, but this is a very good copy. You can compare them here http://www.infobae.com/interior/home.html
Força Barça y Messi, qué bueno que viniste!

He came to Barça when he was 11 I think. He had to be treated with growth hormones and it is a very expensive treatment which they didn't want to spend on an 11 year old in Argentina. So Barça gave him the treatment. He's still small but he doesn't have to grow more if you ask me.

You already got Cesc from us a few years ago! No more :x

hehe...you'll get cesc back one day, when he's 28 or so i reckon...go on...slip messi our way please...or eto'o...

a guy i work with is from spain, an avid real madrid supporter...i still remember the tears in his eyes when we beat them in the champions league...and i won a hundred quid off him on it too..

i wont mention our last meeting though, for obvious reasons!

We won't need Cesc. We have Xavi and Iniesta is just 22 y.o. Have you seen Iniesta play? Shear delicatessen! Superb game by Xavi yesterday by the way. Eto'o is not for sale! Worlds best striker (maybe Drogba can match him) is in Barça for many years. You can have Motta though!

I remember when you played Real Madrid last year. They were very happy too play against Arsenal and thought they would win easily. Hehehehe. I had a bet on Arsenal too, and luckily I won. Apart from wanting Barça to win, I always want Real Madrid to loose. By the way, how is Julio Baptista doing this season? He's a very good allround player (midfield/striker) although I think he's more of a midfielder. A Ballack, Lampard type of player.

he wasnt fit for quite a while, its mainly cos of the speed we play here..especially at arsenal...but he did bang in 4 against liverpool in the carling cup!

and he scored in our game last night too...3-1...

i hope he stays, he's a giant brick wall of a man isnt he...apparently some gunners shout "feed the beast!" when he plays...

he's a good lad, him and gilberto have ukulele sessions together!

it ususally takes a player a season to settle in with us for some reason...just look at pires, and even thierry took ages to score...then he didnt stop!

so i hope we keep the beast... :D do you think its worth selling reyes on e-bay? he's a great player, just couldnt fit into the premiership for some reason...

Reyes is/was a great player when he played in Sevilla, but he stopped developing as a player. I heard he had a lot of trouble in settling in in London. He missed the sun, food, friends, etc. I think he even went there with his entire family! Father, mother, girlfriend... Well, ex-girlfriend, right? There were some problems with Reyes' mother. Apparently she's very bossy and didn't give him the freedom he would've needed. And now in Real Madrid he hasn't done anything special. You don't need to go to ebay to sell Reyes. Real Madrid are known for spending lots of money on useless players. And if that doesn't work you can try ebay or some sucker team in Spain to buy him, although his year here doesn't help if you want to sell him in Spain. Maybe Italy.
