"Generally" card tricks using normal deck of cards are published in the books. Sometimes the books go out of print limiting those interested in buying it. Also magic shops rarely sell individual instructions sheets for such tricks which becomes out of reach of the individual.

Should the interested individual just keep quite or has any options in such cases ???

If one learns from the the various internet clippings, then it is like getting without paying...

I'm not really sure what you're asking here but there are plenty of books out there which teach card magic, Royal Road To Card Magic, Card College, Encyclopedia of Card Tricks, Karl Fulves Self Working Card Magic are just a few off the top of my head.

Learning from the free clips on the internet isn't really a good idea. Aside from the obvious ethics issue, the methods are usually very poor, you're much better off spending a small amount of money on a good book.

though i would never advocate people learning magic straight from the net...the reasons are axiomatic old bean...

I was looking for the many tricks and some are mentioned below :

1. Oil and Water using Ascanio spread.
2. Oil and Water using Jordan Count.
3. Roy Walton's Rainbow cascade.
4. Colour changing card (Jupiter)

And many other tricks

basically do no got fishing for free stuff!!

There is more than enough material out there. Its not like there is one particular effect that was puclished in the 20's that is now out of print so the ONLY way you can learn it is off youtube!!

Thats simply not the case. Any effect that exists is published somewhere. There is no excuse for fishing. You are only learning off amateurs who cannot teach the way the effect needs to be learned.

You made a post somewhere about figuring out stuff by repeatingly watching clips on youtube.. this is simply not the way to go about it.. morally, its soooo wrong!

So all this talk of card tricks that are no longer published is bull. And so what if a few effects are now out of print. Its not like that one trick is so revolutionary it is kept underground.

Can I suggest that you get yourself a good book and learn the basics from that? Mark Wilsons Complete Course has a very good card section and Royal Road to Card Magic is also a very good book to learn from.

You'll get so much more from either of these books than you will do from free youtube clips

you'll find them all in books...books you buy from retailers...

At some point you have to stop relying on tricks created by others and start creating your own. If you go around simply taking the work of others, your
theft is arguably greater than that of the people who expose tricks in YouTube "tutorials".

Learn the techniques from a book - there are plenty. Create your own tricks using them.

very very true, a decent book will not only teach you tricks but it'll also teach you techniques. You can take those techniques and either use them to enhance the tricks you already know or make your own tricks.

i want to learn the card tricks but dont want to pay for books or dvd. i don't even have a pack of cards. where can i print off a pack of cards and cut them out and use those so i can do magic?
